Veterinary Emergencies commonly seen at our animal hospital:

Emergencies are already stressful on you and your pet.  At South Orange County Animal Hospital, our veterinarians will work with you to find the solution that best serves you and your pets.

South Orange County Animal Hospital is fully equipped to handle emergency situations.  From severe allergic reactions due to bee stings, gastrointestinal distress, vomiting, collapse, or even seizures, your pet will be assessed immediately by a veterinarian.  Following the initial assessment, you will be given multiple options to best serve you and your pet. 

Our hospital has the most updated equipment available including:

  • Digital radiography (x-rays)

  • Endoscopic foreign body retrieval

  • Abdominal Ultrasound

  • Complete on-site laboratory

  • Thoracic Ultrasound

  • Echocardiography

  • Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG)

  • Digital Blood pressure

  • High-resolution oral radiography

If your pet has a life-threatening emergency refer to the map below for the closest emergency hospital to you.   Call the appropriate hospital and notify them that you will be arriving with your pet and describe the situation to the emergency staff.
